KIDS SUMMER KICKOFF
Big trucks, cool treats, and family fun are coming your way! Join us for a special outdoor kids’ event at the Old Adair property beside the library from 9:00 am-11:00 am featuring Trae Caton’s Touch-A-Truck exhibit with firetrucks, wreckers, and more, plus Piper Peach Radio, temporary tattoo station, giveaways, and FREE Italian ice vouchers for kids (first 300 while supplies last). Visit the Chilton Clanton Public Library tent to receive a free Italian ice voucher, prizes, and more! The Friends of the Library will also have a tent with cool information. The Relay for Life Queens, Thorsby Swedish Festival Queens, and the Chilton County Peach Queens will be on site as well.
PLEASE NOTE: The library building will be CLOSED from 8:00 am-1:00 pm during the event. The public bathrooms in the building will be open, but library services will not be available until 1:00 pm.

JAN THE SCIENCE LADY
Get ready for a fun science adventure with Jan the Science Lady! Jan Mattingly is the CEO of Dynamic Education Adventures, LLC, and she loves bringing hands-on learning to kids in exciting and creative ways. Join us for a program full of fun, discovery, and science surprises! This will be Jan’s first visit to our library and our first Summer Reading Program of the year.
