Who We Are
The Friends of Chilton/Clanton Public Library is a non-profit group of citizens who believe that a good library is essential to the cultural, educational and economic well-being of Chilton County/Clanton. The Friends work to assist the Board of Trustees and the Library Director; to promote increased knowledge of the functions, resources, services and needs of the library; to stimulate volunteer service; to encourage gifts and memorials for the library; to help the library procure funds for items that are not included in the regular budget and to sponsor cultural and educational events.

The Friends of the Chilton/Clanton Public Library offer exciting fundraiser events! Please follow us on Facebook. Come in and browse or make a donation! All donations and proceeds from sales benefit the library and are tax-deductible!
Friends Membership
The Friends need your support. Join and help Chilton/Clanton Public Library be the best we can be! Membership is $10 per person per year or $15 per person for two years. Membership cost for couples is $12 per year or $15 for two years. Business Membership is $50 for one year or $75 for two years. Premier Membership is $100 for one year and $150 for two years. Donations are also accepted, greatly appreciated and tax deductible! Fill out the Membership application below and mail to Friends of the Library or bring it to the Library Circulation Desk. All are welcome!
When you become a Friend of the Chilton/Clanton Public Library you will meet new people and become a part of the community. Friends help keep the community connected through the organizing of special events and fundraising for the library. Your participation can help you learn new skills through community outreach planning, marketing, and fundraising, and membership has privileges!

Please make checks payable to Friends of the Chilton/Clanton Public Library and mail your payment to the Friends address indicated below. Friends accept cash or check. Thank you!
